The financial situation of the Government of Oaxaca will be evaluated by several rating agencies, including HR Ratings—an agency that grants investment grades. This annual assessment contributes to improving the planning and execution of public projects.

During the first session held this Tuesday, October 21, staff from the Ministry of Finance participated in a working meeting. The head of the agency, Farid Acevedo López, explained that these assessments provide objective information to the investment market.

Acevedo López emphasized that, through this process, the administration of Governor Salomón Jara Cruz is strengthening the state’s financial stability, enabling better planning and implementation of large-scale projects that benefit thousands of Oaxacan families.

In addition, the official presented HR Ratings with information on payment capacity, credit risk, and debt instruments—key data that allow the agency to assess the State Government’s solvency and the likelihood of default on its financial obligations.
